El-Hadhanah: Indonesian Journal of Family Law and Islamic Law is peer-reviewed journal published by Islamic Family Law Department, Sharia and Law Faculty, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The journal is focusing to publish research articles, conceptual articles, and book reviews of Family Law and Islamic Law (Sharia) issues. Publish twice in year, January-June and July-December.

CALL FOR PAPER El-Hadhanah: Indonesian Journal of Family Law and Islamic Law.

Dear Respected Authors and Researchers

We invite you, Islamic studies scholars and researchers, to publish your articles in our journal, El-Hadhanah: Indonesian Journal of Family Law and Islamic Law. All accepted articles will be published in El-Hadhanah: Indonesian Journal of Family Law and Islamic Law Vol. 6, No. 1, January-June 2026.

In response to the overwhelming number of submissions and our previous limitation of only six (6) articles per issue, El-Hadhanah is pleased to announce a strategic expansion. Effective from Volume 6, Issue 1 (2026), we will be increasing our publication output to 10 articles per issue. We trust that this policy will allow us to make a more significant contribution to the academic community.

Current Issue

Vol. 5 No. 2 (2025): El-Hadhanah: Indonesian Journal of Family Law and Islamic Law

This issue has been available online since June 2025. All articles in this issue (6 original research articles) were authored or co-authored by 15 authors from 5 affiliations and 3 countries (Indonesia, Australia, and Malaysia).
