Gampong Bersih Dari Narkoba (Bersinar) Di Gampong Lampulo Kota Banda Aceh

Abstract

Drug abuse remains a significant social issue in Banda Aceh. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Drug-Free Village (Gampong Bersinar) Program by the National Narcotics Agency of Banda Aceh (BNNK Banda Aceh) and its impact on community awareness and behavior in Lampulo Village. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method using interviews, observations, and documentation involving seven informants. The findings reveal that the program was implemented through Recovery Agent training, public awareness campaigns, partnerships with village authorities and the police, religious-based prevention activities, and community economic empowerment through catfish farming micro-enterprises. The program strengthened collaboration among stakeholders, improved public knowledge and awareness of drug-related dangers, and encouraged greater community participation in drug prevention efforts. Productive social and economic activities also contributed to creating a more resilient community against drug abuse. Despite challenges related to limited funding and suboptimal community participation, the Gampong Bersinar Program has proven effective in enhancing community social resilience and has the potential to serve as a community-based drug prevention model for other villages.
